Summer Wind exploring the Turks & Caicos Islands

The Turks & Caicos Islands, hiding at the southern tip of the Bahamian Archipelago, string of low sand cays and endless beautiful beaches. The pace of life is easygoing.

Providenciales is the capital of Turks & Caicos and Summer Wind visit the Tutle Cove Marina for 5 weeks, feeling the might of the Atlantic and waiting for good friends visiting the sailing vessel.

Grace Bay Beach is world famous and offers several miles long stretch of coast, powdered with white sand and close enough to the reef wall to se the Atlantic breakers.

Grand Turk is a step back in time. The Island is 10,5 km long and the Cockburn Town has narrow streets frequented by wild donkeys and horses. Beaches rim the land and calm blue water invites us in for a refreshing swim in the sunset.
